Sample:
Vaginal swab: Carefully insert the swab into the vagina about 2 inches (5 cm) past the introitus and gently rotate the swab
for 10 to 30 seconds. Make sure the swab touches the walls of the vagina so that moisture is absorbed by the swab
and then withdraw the swab without touching the skin.
Male urethral swab: Insert the specimen collection swab 2 to 4 cm into the urethra.
Gently rotate the swab clockwise for 2 to 3 seconds in the urethra to ensure adequate sampling.

Introduction
Chlamydia trachomatis/ Neisseria gonorrhoeae Nucleic Acid Assay Kit (RT-PCR) is for in vitro rapid qualitative detection of Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae in female genital tract secretion and male urinary tract secretion. This test kit is suitable for patients with clinical symptoms of sexually transmitted infections (STI) or initial screening of high-risk STI population.
The test results are for clinical reference and should not be regarded as the only standard for clinical diagnosis. It is
recommended to combine the patient's clinical manifestations and other laboratory test results for a comprehensive
analysis of the condition.
