Intended use
The Fungal Fluorescent Staining Solution is designed for the Fluorescent staining for fungal D-glucan detection.
Summary
The compound staining method makes the morphology of epithelial cells, leukocytes, bacilli, cocci, molds and trichomoniasis clearly visible under a fluorescence microscope, which is convenient for observation and evaluation under the microscope. It can improve the detection rate and accuracy of positive pathogenic bacteria in clinical samples.
Warnings and Precaution
1. It should be operated by personnel with professional experience or trained and qualified.
2. Reagents should avoid fungal contamination and should not be frozen.
3. The amount of reagents and samples can be handled according to the requirements of different samples and instruments.
4. The reagents are corrosive and should be protected before conducting experiments. If splashed on the skin or eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention according to the extent.
5. This product is for in vitro clinical diagnosis only and should not be used by non-professionals for self-testing.
6. Freezing is prohibited.
Test Procedure
1. placing the slide in a horizontal position and applying a drop of staining solution directly to the sample.
2. the staining solution is applied in such a way as to cover or submerge the entire sample, allowing sufficient binding of its components to the polymers, for 2 minutes.
3. after 2 minutes, cover the coverslip and use blotting paper to remove excess staining solution.
4. Select a biological (fluorescent) microscope with an excitation wavelength of 340nm-380nm and an emission wavelength of 420nm-490nm for direct microscopic examination.
Product Performance
1. Appearance.
The liquid in the bottle should be blue-purple in colour.
2. Capacity.
The quantity contained in the bottle should be not less than the indicated value.
3. E. coli staining treatment.
E. coli smears should be weakly fluorescent or non-fluorescent when observed through a biological (fluorescent) microscope after staining.
4. Candida albicans staining treatment.
Candida albicans smears should show bright blue fluorescence after staining when viewed through a biological (fluorescent) microscope.
